Collaborative production ; narration and cello score accompaniment performed live as a duo.

Utilising my looping pedals I perform in a live setting a cello score composed for these two productions

SHOWCASE 22/07/25 We are sharing our new atmospheric spoken word and live music and film programme following R&D 22 July 6-8pm. We would be so glad if you can join us for any feedback/ or suggestions going forwards to get booked into event programmes and festivals across the region.

The new piece Dorset Songs of Stone Quarry Paths + Distant Voices (30 mins approx) is presented alongside the Seiners (25 mins) commissioned by SoundUk and toured with Jason Singh last year. Posters below. Quarry Paths includes voices and stories Purbeck and Portland and the next phase is a oral history book draft submission.

Sarah Acton is in musical collaboration with Emily Burridge Cellist and composer on 22nd July.  The film is by Adrian Cooper of Common Ground with directing consultant Laura Burrow.

The event is free and will be also open to arts organisations, partners and friends from the community who contributed. Though low-key, it’s our first airing of the new material.
