Emily with her cello in collaboration with pianist Guy Jackson offers the classic combination of cello and piano. Some tracks are left as the duo originally composed them while others have had orchestration and string arrangements added with themes developed. In working together their compositions generally originate from free improvisation sessions in which they allow their instruments to ponder and converse .
