Emily’s music reflects her love of our natural environment and in her hands the cello becomes a voice for her personal experiences as she amalgamates melodies, rhythms and sounds from her field recordings.
“At the Turning of the World” release date 05/07/2024 features a collection of compositions produced during the last three years inspired by events in different parts of the world which have moved her to compose or arrange a piece for the cello.

“Sisters in the Forest” originally premiered at Cop 26 in Glasgow and released as a single in ’21
“Fukushima” -Live 2024 recorded concert performance April 2024 this is Emily’s cello response to the “Fukushima” and also represents a siren from the sea.
“Pastoral Light” features bird song recorded at dawn and literally takes the listener on a walk in the landscape. Originally produced as commission for a very special event and released as a single.
“Prayer for the rivers” – live 2024 concert recording of a transcription of a piece that Emily originally created playing in the crypt of Chartres cathedral.
“Aqua Vitae” this composition was originally created as a soundtrack for a short film entitled “Waterfell” by video artist Terry Flaxton for Sedition Art
