Emily Burridge is regularly employed as a session musician on recordings for songs and sound tracks either as a featured player or within a string section

Within a recording environment her ability to improvise enables her to work alongside producers developing ideas for 'cello parts, and as a composer in her own right she easily adapts to writing string arrangements for songs.

SESSION WORK

Sacred Elephant - Emily composed music to accompany readings of the book, "Sacred Elephant" by Heathcote Williams which was performed at various venues throughout England, accompanying the reading given by actress Virginia McKenna.

Black & White Productions - Co-wrote sound track for the short film, "Engaged..." Emily watched the screen and played the 'cello in accompaniment to the imagery and the music previously composed at Brian May's studio.
